What is Truth?
Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.
This word comes in a direct statement from Jesus
There are not multiple meanings unlike other words
Not only does it mean what is true but more importantly what is objectively true in any matter
Jesus was the full revelation the un-concealing of God, complete expression of God’s grace and mercy
Jesus and THE TRUTH are synonymous
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.

The counterfeit of repentance is tolerance
Bible says you’re wrong and you need to change, tolerance no you’re not, you’re fine
Can’t be a Christian w/o repentance – tolerance is the neutralizer of repentance
The Truth – God loves you so much, He’ll take you as you are, but He loves you too much to leave you as you are
Love does something for someone that tolerance cannot – it changes them so the best version of them emerges
We all agree that some intolerance is good:
Smoking in a hospital
Convicted sex offender – Kindergarten teachers
You do believe in intolerance – you don’t like it when it applies to you
Today’s definition of intolerance
If you are so insecure in your belief system that you need my approval, you should really consider your convictions
You should only care about what God says in the end – not what someone says along the way
“The” Truth is not My Truth

And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.
Others say there’s nothing more powerful than your truth
If “your truth” is separated from something stable and sure like God then it’s just your opinion - not powerful at all. It’s just what you feel about things
We are in the age of Self-worship
because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
This whole thing about suppressing the truth is a protection racket for my truth because if I obey The truth them my position as creator gets dethroned.
self-love, self-esteem, self-confidence, self-care, being my best self and the selfie
There used to be laws against blasphemy against God - You could not insult God.
Now there are laws against vilifying your sense of identity
The biggest sins today is judging - because being ME is a much higher priority than being judged by haters who hold me back
If I am my own creator there is no limit what people would do.
This makes us think way to highly of ourselves.
What is more worthy to pursue self - or something outside of self.
Bible tells me to sacrifice self
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

Dishonor the God the Spirit
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
“But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.
We don’t win here on earth
I want righteousness, peace of mind, love of the Father, SALVATION
